Privacy

Your résumé is never stored.

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what data we process when you use Reaver (reaver.ink), why, and who it is shared with. It applies to anyone using the service, regardless of the country they use it from. By using Reaver you accept what is described here.

1. Who we are

Reaver is a tool operated by its creator from Chile. For any question about your data, you can reach us via the contact email published on the site.

2. In one sentence

We use your résumé or your profession only in the moment to read your profile and search for jobs. We do not store it in any database, we do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything else.

3. What data we process

a) Your résumé text or the profession you type: processed once to extract your role and skills, and discarded when the search ends. Not stored. b) Your approximate country: derived from your IP address (via Vercel’s network) only to show you local jobs. We do not store your IP. c) Anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, country, device type) via analytics that uses no tracking cookies and does not identify you.

4. Legal basis

We process this data based on your consent (by submitting your résumé to search) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service. You can withdraw consent at any time by stopping use of the service; since we do not store your résumé, there is nothing left to delete.

5. Who it is shared with

To read your profile we use an AI provider (OpenRouter, routing to models such as OpenAI’s), which processes the text in the moment and, per its terms, does not use it to train models. Job listings come from public job boards (GetOnBoard, Jooble); we never send them your résumé. The site is hosted on Vercel. If you buy Pro, payment is processed by Mercado Pago. We do not share your data with anyone else or for advertising.

6. International transfers

The providers above may process data on servers located outside your country (e.g. in the United States or the European Union). By using Reaver you accept that the momentary processing of your résumé may occur in those locations. Since we do not store the content, no data of yours is retained abroad.

7. Storage in your browser

If you buy Pro, we save your access code in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so you don’t have to re-enter it during the 48 hours. That code stays only on your device and does not personally identify you. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Retention

We do not retain your résumé or profession: they are discarded when each search ends. Analytics data is kept anonymously and in aggregate.

9. Your rights

Depending on your country (e.g. GDPR in Europe, Law 21.719 in Chile, or equivalent laws elsewhere) you have the right to access, rectify, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Since we do not store your personal data, in practice there is nothing to rectify or delete on our end. For any question or request, reach out and we will reply.

10. Minors

Reaver is not directed at children under 16. If you are a minor, use the service with the permission of a parent or guardian.

11. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, never expose keys or secrets to the browser, and rate-limit our APIs to prevent abuse. No system is fully foolproof, but since we do not store your résumé the risk to your data is minimal.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page with its update date.

By using Reaver you accept this Privacy Policy and the momentary processing of your résumé described above, limited to searching for jobs and, if you choose Pro, improving it.
